You may hike to the North Pole where Christmas trees and spectacular views of Mt. Monadnock await you. While Santa’s workshop is not visible, you will discover a field of over 10,000 Balsam and Fraser Christmas trees of varying sizes.
"It was the first time for my family. It was magical!! If I had to pin down my favorite part, it would be walking up to the North Pole. The view up there is spectacular!!" Courtney
You may stay closer to home to select your Christmas tree from a field of over 6,000 Balsam, Concolor, Fraser, and Blue Spruce of various heights. It is here you will come upon a variety of Christmas characters to enhance the experience of finding your tree.
“This was our second year purchasing a tree from Cranston’s. The experience of walking the beautiful tree farm and being in such a natural setting is wonderful! Everyone in the Cranston family is cheerful, helpful and very Christmassy. What an all-around delight and memorable experience!” Joanne
No matter which tree speaks to you or whether your adventure takes you to the North Pole or close by, our hope is that your choose and cut experience will create your own unique memories and traditions.
Balsam Fir is a very aromatic soft, short-needled, green conifer. Concolor Fir with its citrus fragrance is a soft, medium needled, bluish-green tree. Fraser Fir is a soft, short-needled, dark green conifer. Blue Spruce is a sharp, short-needled blue-green tree.

While we enjoy the competitive spirit of Christmas tree contests and the ribbons we have won, our greatest reward comes from watching you - our customers - create your experiences, memories, and traditions at our farm.
Not only does one acre of Christmas trees provide fresh oxygen for everyone, this acre also provides a habitat for wild flowers, birds, and beneficial insects.
Every spring our sugarhouse comes alive with the sweet smell of maple. It is here where we boil down maple sap on our wood-fired evaporator to make our delicious maple syrup.
In this photo, these maple syrup sample bottles are arranged from 1st to last boil. As the season progresses, notice the color changes of the syrup produced.
— Early season, light, delicate tasting maple syrup is often used to make maple cream and candy.
— Mid-season, medium color, rich tasting maple syrup is the perfect topping.
— Late season, dark color, robust tasting maple syrup is ideal for cooking and baking.
